Last updated 28 August 2026. What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can tell us to do with it.
We collect what we need to sell you a ticket and get you through the door. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the organiser whose event you are attending and the providers that process the payment.
The organiser of an event you have bought a ticket to receives your name and email address so they can run the door and contact you about that event. They may not use it for unrelated marketing. Beyond that, we share data only with the payment processors, email provider and hosting infrastructure needed to run the service, each under contract and each restricted to that purpose.
Order records are kept for seven years, because tax law in the countries we operate in requires it. Marketing preferences are kept until you withdraw them. Technical logs are kept for 90 days.
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it, or object to us processing it. Email privacy@bossmoney.net and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your national data protection authority; in Kenya, to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
We operate across Kenya, the European Union and the United States, so your data may be processed in any of them. Transfers out of the EU and UK are made under standard contractual clauses.
